”Koselig” is the Norwegian term to describe a warm and cozy atmosphere, experience, or feeling. It is the Norwegian version of the Danish ”Hygge”.

This luxury ski lodge is located on the mountain in Fageråsen Fjellgrend, Trysil Nord, with direct access to the surrounding slopes and cross country tracks. Trysil is an extremely popular skiing destination in Norway.

The entire lodge has been designed by award winning interior architect Helene Hennie. The decor has been focussed on creating a truly warm and homely mountain lodge atmosphere.

Villa Koselig has a large conference room seating up to 18 guests with hard-wooden tables, a fireplace and an incredible cosy atmosphere. On the same floor a TV screening room with plentiful comfortable sofa’s can be found.

There is a collaboration with a nearby beautiful spa facility with indoor and outdoor pools, as well as two outdoor hot tubs. A truly luxury ski vacation is guaranteed!

The layout of the house

The large and cozy living room boasts a seating area with many couches & chairs as well as a central fire place. The conference room and TV snug are located on the third floor, the loft floor. The conference table seats up to 18 people, and the TV snug is equipped with TV, surround sound, a DVD player and Playstation. Just outside the main lodge is the ski equipment cabin installed with heaters to comfortably prepare for a day of skiing or snowboarding.

Villa Koselig contains 8 bedrooms that all come with Jensen mattresses and goose down duvets:
Bedroom 1: two double, and two single beds (sleeps 6)
Bedroom 2: one double, and one single bed (sleeps 3)
Bedroom 3: two double beds (sleeps 4)
Bedroom 4: one double bed
Bedroom 5: one double, and one single bed (sleeps 3)
Bedroom 6: two single beds (bunkbed)
Bedroom 7: one double bed
Bedroom 8: one double bed

There are 3 bathrooms which are all dressed in gorgeous tiles from Fired Earth:
1 bathroom with double shower and sauna
1 bathroom with a whirpool bathtub
1 bathroom with a double shower

Location

The famous ski destination Trysil has plenty of ski slopes to explore, Trysil is the largest and most family-friendly ski are of Norway. In Trysil the highest ski altitude is 1.100m, longest piste is 5.400 m and the vertical drop is 685 m. In total there are over 60 slopes ranging from a very easy level to black slopes for the experienced skier.

There are many possibilities to book activities in this area as well either for children or for example a thrilling off piste guided tour.
